@rauschma So it’s not just features, is what I’m saying. There are huge cultural hurdles. The Fediverse is useless for news or updates about public transport. I can’t find out about a water main being shut down here.

Also, there are some who are aggressively zealous here about here. That alienates people and discourages them from staying. It’s like joining a weird cult, and you have to prove you want it enough to be allowed to stay.
