@frameworkcomputer I already see the first upgrade I want. A trackpad with hardware mouse buttons. I find myself not using otherwise good laptops that do not have those.

Imo it might also be good to have an option to not have a trackpad at all, for people like me who always have a mouse and find the trackpads on laptops to be minor annoyances

@RassilonianLegate @frameworkcomputer But do you always have a table? When you find yourself using your laptop on your lap, or in a car, it comes in handy to have usable mouse buttons. I usually plug in a mouse when at a desk, but I like my Lenovos with real buttons.

Personally yes I only ever use my laptop at a table, also I use a trackball so I don't end up needing much extra space

I understand why people need trackpads (and yes if I had to use a trackpad I would prefer real buttons) but I can't stand them

Probably at least in part from spending a long time gaming on laptops, and having the trackpad enable itself for no discernible reason causing my mouse move around wildly

I'm okay with it, but if I could I'd get it without
