I use chromium too because some websites (which i need for administrative stuff) don't work with firefox so i don't have a choice.

@eowyn @ploum @nore715 Maybe a combination of Ungoogled Chromium or Brave for those few administrative sites plus Firefox for everything else would do it ?

I found most of those work with one of these two options:

1. fake the browser ID, so let Firefox lie and say it's Chrome

2. disable safety/privacy settings on Firefox

Both tell me a lot about the nature of those websites.

@eowyn @ploum @nore715 You could use Firefox for most of you Web browsing and Chromium for those few sites that do not work in Firefox. (And message the developers of those Web sites so that they get to know that there is a problem they ought to fix.)
