@Gargron@editor when I say troll, I mean even our own president and his sons. Last thing they did was to spread a fakenews about a well known journalist friend telling she trade sex for info. That's how low they can go.
@DanielaAbade@editor I'm not sure social media of any kind can help with what real-world agents like presidents and militia can do in retaliation, if they know who you are. You don't have to reveal your real name on Mastodon... Still, if one's personal safety is on the line, one can never be too careful. I think all that Mastodon can offer as a platform is moderators who block trolls/robots from sending spam/abuse.
