@trwnh I feel like due to the now-removed admin auto-follow feature my followers number was inflated and made me seem more influential than I really was  @Gargron can't say i haven't been there, i used to purge my instagram and twitter followers but i stopped because i figured it didn't really matter in the end, and if someone wants to follow then it would be a bit weird to log in after a year or whatever and be silently missing people these days my preferred solution would be to have the counts (and lists) hidden, like tumblr does it @trwnh Oh, if someone wants to follow that's a different story, and I will not bother removing followers after this. But the majority were auto-follows and there's no real way to tell them apart for that time period.   Oook, now it makes more sense. Still quite a lot, though! Very nice. I bet (and I hope) this number will double in the next few months. I feel the #Fediverse is taking off! 😍🚀 (Also thanks to many new #ActivityPub projects popping up everyday)   |
