@chrisg they mainly have me on email. Suggestions welcome. Protonmail seems ok but some don't even recognise it as a valid email.
Also Africam.org has a rubbish cookie policy where you can't opt out. Not related. Or maybe it is.

@TheDailyBurble @chrisg I've used @Tutanota for email for 3 years now. No regrets, no issues, no problems with signing up for services. They have a free tier you can try, but I'm a happily paying customer. @secbox @TheDailyBurble @chrisg Thanks for recommending our secure email service! 😊 Any questions, we're here to help. @TheDailyBurble @chrisg Anecdotal, but I’ve been using Protonmail for almost exactly 5 years and have had maybe one time where a site didn’t like it. @TheDailyBurble @chrisg Alone, it could get expensive. If you know a few others willing to help split a bill, it is the best. I'm lucky enough to have a parent with a business that also needs a website and email. As such, I self host with a static IP. |
@TheDailyBurble Good question. The names i see most often are protonmail and fastmail. Not sure what other options are available and how good they are.
