Count Binface

In a field of 17 candidates, I came 8th. And for the second time in three years, I beat UKIP and Piers Corbyn in a democratic election. If thatโ€™s not a sign of hope, nothing is.

@CountBinface Weโ€™re all rooting for you but at this rate victory is some way off.
You just need one well-positioned supporter. Lord Binface has a ring to it!

@CountBinface The voters should be ashamed of themselves!
Not just because they had voted Johnson in, but not dumping all those awful Tories, when you offer a far better level of intelligence, honesty and compassion.
Good Luck next time!

@CountBinface To be honest it's an honor to be in the race, and a testament to your dedication in trying to save us.

From ourselves.

DESPITE ourselves.

@CountBinface

Your manifesto policy of tying ministers pay to nurses pay for 100 years is a good one. Onwards and upwards, get em next time.

@CountBinface โ€˜Tis just a flesh wound. Victory shall be yours!

@CountBinface Once again you are let down by the general political ignorance of this country.

People frequently conflate local with regional and national issues. As a consequence they vote against good local candidates, because they're thinking about national issues or party politics that make no bloody difference.

If more people looked at what their local candidates did on behalf of their community, or what they'd done outside politics that warranted their vote, we'd be in a much better position.
