@Gargron I'm under the impression there is a tacit rule not to repost content from here on other social media, for privacy/protection @Gargron @honiden it depends on the server, or even user. It obviously not the case on mastodon.social since Eugene hasn't heard of it but I've definitely seen other servers where it's tacitly understood to be poor form to share outside of the community, or even user bios asking to not have posts they've made shared. @Gargron

   @Gargron I made a post a couple months back about how Gmail scans copies of your emails and keeps records of your purchase history based on receipts and such that you have sent to your inbox. It was mentioned in an episode of "Surveillance Report" on YouTube and is still getting boosts and retoots when people watch their video. |
