@jonny it's too thin compared to other fonts of the same weight. It means the following:
* The lines don't match the pixel grid at all on lower resolution screens.
* The lines are thin, so it's a legibility nightmare. I don't have the best vision, and I have problems with it.
Also:
* 1 and l look too similar. Maybe other character pairs have similar problems.
Just using Courier instead of Courier New is a good idea.
Courier New is fine on paper for some reason though.
