I currently have only about a month left to find a job in the tech field before I'm forced to move back to my hometown with very few opportunities available and limited space/options to continue providing various services. Positions within the US and #Nashville area are heavily preferred.

I'm neurodivergent and have been writing #backend/server software for over 5 years and managing #Linux servers for 4 years on my own, mainly working on various personal projects that have achieved significant scale. I primarily work with #NodeJS, #CPP, and #Java, however I also know quite a bit of #Swift. I tend to be a fast learner, so I could probably figure out a new lang or some new tooling on request.

I'd be willing to provide further info on request. Thanks in advance.

@esm I live close to Huntsville about 1.5 hours south of Nashville and there are tons of coding jobs there. They are mostly with government contractors, but the pay is good. Huntsville isn't as interesting as Nashville but is a nice medium sized city. You could search for jobs there and see what you find.

Update to this: I turned in my two weeks for my current, low-paying retail job (that I wouldn't be able to afford a place to live with) on Friday, since I won't be able to work there once I move back. I will have zero income and running all the stuff I run will become much more difficult if I can't find a good job in this area before the 25th.

I've been checking all over and applying to various jobs but unfortunately the job market is brutal, I've seen "junior" positions that require 5 years of professional workplace experience and I've been either ghosted or rejected by every place I've applied to so far. If anything, some tips would be appreciated, since I'm really just now entering the workforce.

Turns out I have less time than I thought, the new plan is to start moving stuff over this Thursday. After a quick search in the area, I'm not hopeful that I'll be able to find many opportunities to keep things running over there, so I'm trying to speed up the process of applying as much as I can.

My GitHub is linked here if anyone wishes to take a look at some of my work.

@esm@wetdry.world Been trying to post this in other places, did you happen to post about this on Twitter? If you do I could retweet it and try and get others to.
