@frameworkcomputer Looks like the site's been hugged to death, so I can't see yet

That said, *no waaay*! Wonder if it would be at all suitable to drop into the #librem5

@xethos @frameworkcomputer the site seems to be back up. I agree! It would be awesome if this helps Linux phone projects.

@interrupthandler @xethos @frameworkcomputer Yeah we got hit kind of hard lol, doesn't the Librem 5 have cellular built-in though? Just curious why you'd want to use 2 modems on a phone (I mean, more power to you if you do 😂 )

@liberatedsystems @interrupthandler @frameworkcomputer I was thinking less "2 at the same time" and more "Which one has lower power draw, and will one have a more active dev community?"

@xethos @interrupthandler @frameworkcomputer Your power draw question is interesting. That would largely depend on the modem I would say, maybe I'll have a dig and see what modem the Librem uses on its SoC at some point :)

@xethos @frameworkcomputer Looks like it's just a regular modem module not unlike the one on the M.2 card that's used with the Librem 5 though? Nothing open about it except the PCB that it's soldered to.

@dos Well that's disappointing. I mean, exciting for Framework owners, but I dunno - I guess I just have Framework and "generally open hardware" a little too closely linked in my mind, and jumped to conclusions.
