@passthejoe Replying from Semaphore right now - hadn't heard of this before. It's quite nice! @stevendbrady It's an absolute gem - and some of the designs/new features planned are gonna make it shine even more. @omgubuntu Tuba is so nice! Makes me really want a proper Linux phone (more than usual). Just wish it had manual refresh. @omgubuntu My problem with Tuba is that you can't seem to have it reload timelines. I.e sometimes I just don't get any new posts. Also... I just find the web interface a bit more useful. @oceaniceternity I think they plan to work on caching a bit better to try and address some of the "loading" issues. I switch between multiple accounts and things often get confused - I see timelines for one account while using the other and, as you say, new posts sometimes stop coming in. Still, open source means this stuff can and will get better! @reedy0 @omgubuntu You're welcome.🙏 It's a lovely browser, themed perfectly for Gnome. 😃 @omgubuntu Local files FTW, rarely stream stuff that I sadly can't buy because either author doesn't have Bandcamp, or never sell their music in files @skobkin I did say "mostly". I listen to both but I /mostly/ listen to streaming these days. It's about a 40/60 split. |
Sidenote: posting this has led me to notice how nice Mastodon polls look in Tuba (a terrific GTK Fediverse client) 😍️
