It was so left in the 60’s that the Oligarchy killed the Kennedys and MLK who were their leaders.
Nixon started the “War on Drugs” which was really war on Hippies and Blacks. Lock them up with felony charges so they couldn’t vote afterwards. Some are still in prison for selling a herbal plant.
And that was just the center.
We are now on the far right of that swing.
No where to go until it swings back.
