@256 lol I worked on Riven for about a week during crunch time, masking out water areas for the ripple effect.
Broderbund rented out a movie theater to show the opening scenes on the big screen for the team.

@dressupgeekout @256 Yeah, the game was running late so the parent company shanghaied all it's game studios to pitch in. At the time I was working at LivingBooks in San Francisco, making kids games. All the artists there were tasked with hand drawing masks on the static images for visual effects. |
