Pino in Roscoe Bay. Been here for nearly 6 days. We love it here. It's sheltered, not overly busy at the moment, either.

Ought to be a good place to weather the coming warmth, because there is a freshwater lake just a short row+walk from shore.

A shot from the deck of a sailboat, showing a tree-lined shore with some tents, and moss covered bluffs, on a sunny summer day.

@rek ooh never saw the PINO⠛ on the side, lovely lettering!

@rek do you have a thermometer? Curious what the water temps are in the bay and in Black Lake.

@avi No we don't! Would be curious to know, too. Haven't tried swimming in the bay here, but the lake water was hella warm.
Our knot meter used to tell us water temp, but it's not installed right now.

@rek Emma carries a little aquarium thermometer with her and always measures water temp when swimming. Last night we measured 20C at a swimming beach here, Baker Bay gets up to 27C or so in August.

@avi I'll pick one up for next year. Would be nice to know.

@rek just started to follow you, because you are definitely living my fantasy dream, there, Roscoe Bay on a sailboat.
