Gregory's Server@elduvelle I bought a 2021 dell inspiron used because I needed a new laptop and I have to say it's actually been a great laptop. I think it carries on the spirit of the thinkpad in many ways. $350 usd got me 8 core 16 threads, 32GB ram, and 1tb ssd.

@elduvelle unfortunately, it does not. I think some of the later lenovo thinkpad models still do though!  @elkcityhazard They do… but their keyboard is not as good as they used to be (I currently have a T490s and it’s not too bad, but not great either). |
