Pixelfed users can now request a manual email verification if they cannot receive the confirmation email.

Admins can easily ignore or approve the request in the moderation section of the admin dashboard.

@Gargron That's up to the admin to decide. They don't have to approve every request, but being able to quickly approve a request by a familiar email/user is the primary goal of this feature.

@pixelfed @Gargron this solves the problem of if you invite your friends to your instance and your mail server randomly stops working it's easier to just approve them anyway

@pixelfed Hi I just get to know you and I am curious to use since I have removed my Instagram account forever. But as well as @Mastodon, the apps are not available on Google Play Store. When will they be on Play Store? I can't wait to install it.
