@manurevah and I'll insult @EU_Commission as much as I like, they've consistently fucked up tech matters for years (see also: upload filters, chat surveillance, regularly trying to ban encryption), they've been a pawn of greedy corporations for as long as I can remember, calling them incompetent clowns is the mildest possible insult I could have come up with.

They're greedy, short-sighted, industry-pleasing, people-betraying arseholes who are more interested in collecting bribes and erecting a police state than in serving the people who elected them (or rather, the commission isn't elected by the people at all), they're a bunch of fascist-pleasing scum who are happy to curtail freedoms while ignoring literal nazi regimes in Europe, and they can fuck right off.
