okay so for the kids reading this: back in the 90s days, some computers couldn’t shut down via software. so, when you clicked "shut down" on one of these computers, what Windows would do is close your programs and save data to the drive. after it did all this, it would show "It's now safe to turn off your computer" and the user would manually hit the physical power switch. This is a joke based on that, instead of “it's now safe" I typed “it’s never safe”. Run along, now. |
