@janantos @tchambers @ipg Precisely! That is why I have WebP, WebM and VP9 disabled in Firefox and refuse to use them. If it is controlled by Google, it doesn't matter if it's opensource or royalty free — sure, you can fork it, but everyone will still use their implementation.
