Did you know we limit the maximum number of users by default?

We think 1000 users is a healthy instance size, but understand if that doesn't work for you, so you can set your own limit.

Everyone wins with ethical defaults and endless customization. You can also set max caption length, # of photos per albums and much more.

@pixelfed I realized the number of photos per album is an important difference between instances, but it doesn't seem to be mentioned anywhere before joining, neither in the instance list, nor at an instance's homepage. Isn't that something worth considering?

@pixelfed Thank you, now I see you've got to click on a server and scroll down. It would be a bit more handy to have it as a feature to sort servers by, or in spreadsheet form, but still, the info is there.
