@catdad @Impossible_PhD this is literally what every #trans person I know about - regardless if masculine, feminine or non-binary - told me about their transition.
#HRT is as live-saving as #Insulin and denial of access to it is as fatal as not treating cancer in early stages.
@kkarhan @catdad It isn't like that for all of us. It wasn't for me, though transition improved my quality of life immeasurably.
A lot of us who transitioned before or absent of reaching transition or die don't speak super loudly about that, because many of us didn't even know we were trans until much later in life.
And, right, wrong, or indifferent, there's a chunk of the community that looks down on us for all that.
