@Gargron A man who create one of the famous variation of the fediverse met the Spider-Verse.

@Gargron Beyond the Spider-Verse comes out in March 2024. I for one am willing to wait. What a spectacular two movies so far. The energy, the creativity, the characters you care about... Puts other superhero movies to shame, and makes Pixar look unadventurous.

@Gargron The same thing happened to me. I avoided trailers and articles about the movie since I was planning on catching it anyway. Then I was totally surprised when the "To be continued..." came up!

@Gargron Same thing happen to us and 6 twelve year olds for my kid’s birthday party. They were not pleased by the cliffhanger. 🤣

@Gargron lol yes. So originally they did say Part 1, but the audience tests showed those test audiences HATING the idea of a Part 1 so they just said “fuck it don’t tell them” 🤣

@Gargron Yeah- I was dubious it could live up to the high standard of “Into the Spider-verse”, but it knocked it out of the park. Lord and Miller are the best writing/production combo around.
