 @Natureshadow Sigh, have you considered maybe writing a pull request to fix this, or contacting the developers about it, rather than spouting nonsensical accusations? Kbin isn't a startup, or company, it's a fediverse project maintained by a single person that is experiencing a rare, once in a lifetime opportunity for platform growth, and something that non-important is probably not top of mind for them at this time. 5 comments
I assume, though, you are just making the same mistake you claim I am making, and did not mean "nonsensical accusation". So: Yes, I have tried to reach out to the developers. @Natureshadow you seem to know what you are talking about. Go to https://github.com/ernestwisniewski/kbin and propose a fix. @Natureshadow @pixelfed wow, you really have a sucky attitude to responding on social media. I hate google, i am a big proponent for privacy first software, but you really do come across as the asshole in this @pixelfed @Natureshadow
Switching the font provider should be relatively simple to do. I mean, they could viably fall back to the default system fonts from what it looks like! |

@pixelfed The first step is stop calling legitimate basic user rights expectations "nonsensical". That spirit pretty much disqualifies you as a developer of publicly used software. The only sensible behaviour is **never transfer user data to third parties without consent**. If you can't agree with that basic principle, and instead laugh down users who want their rights protected, please refrain from publishing software for users.
