Will #Lemmy and #Kbin federate some day? I mean, be able to subscribe to a Kbin community from Lemmy and vice versa?, or being able to be moderator of a Lemmy community from Kbin? That would be amazing.
@retiolus the former, yes, already exists as far as I know. The latter doesn't and would be potentially complex to handle (as Flag activities are only sent to the origin server, so you'd need to federate the report back to all the other moderators somehow;
tldr: keep moderation instance local for now, whilst moderation tooling remains instance local.
