Why would you ever use homebrew for anything that isn't a command-line utility or a daemon or something else ported from Linux? I avoid it like the plague and only use it when there are no other options, but even then, libraries have versions in their fucking file names for some reason.
@grishka I never understood the hate around Homebrew. I can install anything from the command-line, without needing to f-k around with PKGs, DMGs, and manual file copying. For me, it's the tool that makes the job done the quickest 🤷🏻♂️
