I love Iosevka as a font. It’s very optimal when it comes to size (I can fit *three* split panes on my 14″ MacBook), and I find it aesthetically pleasing.

I also dislike it, because it gets updated way too often. I upgrade my Homebrew packages once a week, and Iosevka seems to always have an update. Not that big of a deal, but its distribution is very big in comparison to the other packages, and it takes way too long :D First world problems, I suppose.

Why would you ever use homebrew for anything that isn't a command-line utility or a daemon or something else ported from Linux? I avoid it like the plague and only use it when there are no other options, but even then, libraries have versions in their fucking file names for some reason.

@grishka I never understood the hate around Homebrew. I can install anything from the command-line, without needing to f-k around with PKGs, DMGs, and manual file copying. For me, it's the tool that makes the job done the quickest 🤷🏻‍♂️

@kytta that's an annoyance I had with it too!
