While most of my computers aren't on windows, the one for art still is, as there are art programs I still need windows for.

I also hear that linux is rather a mess accessibility-wise,. If you need things like a screen reader, you're better off with Windows (or mac)...

@SweetAIBelle @andreasm @chrisisgr8 one issue that I have always had with GNU-Linux is that I can't move my fingers. If I need to produce large bodies of text I need a speech-text program. There are some packages related to such an application in the Debian archive, but I have never understood how, if at all, they can be used to actually let me dictate text.

Mouse support isn't great either because Windows claim copyright over using a long press to lock 'mouse down'. I have found an ugly hack for that.

I am not complaining by the way. It is more a request for info on #Accessibility, #Debian and #FOSS alternatives to niche but vital software
