@pixelfed @NGIZero Really want to give this a shot but Instagram ain't making it easy.

It wants a password for the export (rightfully so) but I login using facebook so can't give it one it recognises. Boo.

@pixelfed @NGIZero ended up being quite quick to export so have less than 100 images in my Instagram account

@truhe @pixelfed Doesn’t look like it. I ran into an error message after running import a third time (you can choose 100 pics per import).

@truhe Aaaand they’ve bumped to 1000 imports. I suppose admins of instances can choose whatever limit they see fit.

Is there any way to switch instances on Pixelfed? I motive you can Download your data from the old instance but i don’t see a way to import it
