Gregory's Server@ohiorob @stux I am hopeful that the lack of algorithms, the lack of an influencer centric model, and the ease of blocking instances will keep mastodon friendly, safe, and nazi circle jerk free. Or at least they can do it on their own completely isolated instance. Of course, that could lead to a radicalizing echo chamber, but those already exist anywayβ¦

Exactly. I see #mastodon as an exercise in democratization of social media, as much as being a Twitter alternative. I only wish I had learned about it sooner.
