@pixelfed will this mean this functionality was removed (e.g. Redis)/built-in functionality will be used instead or will those things just become optional?

@pixelfed @eliasp Curious about that, too. Friendica, for example, doesn't NEED Redis but it can use it for sessions and caching if you have it.
