Our latest Framework Laptop 16 Deep Dive is on the custom ultra-efficient, high-density 180W USB-C Power Adapter we developed: frame.work/blog/framework-lapt

We might unintentionally end up being the first company to ship a >140W USB-PD 3.1 power adapter?

@frameworkcomputer I'm 99% sure that where you say "Type F (EU/KR)", you mean a combined type E and F plug (CEE 7/7). Unless you really dislike the Belgian, French, Czech, (etc), and are having custom C5 cables made just to spite them, the cable will have a hybrid plug that will work with both type E sockets and type F sockets :)

@frameworkcomputer Very cool. I think this is one of those areas where its importance is vastly understated.
For now this is only a charger for a laptop, but nowadays there are a number of mini PCs which can be powered via USB-C. Of all th hadware components I've had fail over the years, the most common were hard drives and power supplies. So this is a big step in the right direction of longer lived hardware.
Thanks for lpushing things forward!

@frameworkcomputer This somewhat concerns me because if the laptop expects 180 W, what do I do if I forgot my power adaptor at home and am travelling long distance?
