@d6 i have this ancient netbook from 2006 with 32bit intel atom something and 1gb of ram, i love tinkering with it and trying to get it working for modern work

when my next game is done im gonna try compiling it on that thing, it'll probably melt but it should be fun

I have a similar age netbook running current Debian stable (i386 build) and my own custom lightweight X session

I ripped out the antennas and use it for journaling and stuff I want private

It's very gratifying

still have network stuff though, its kind of my "tablet" for now, but i hope to get pinetab 2 and use it for many years
