@Tutanota "The record fine of 1.2 billion euros against Meta is only the final act in a long ongoing legal battle - which shows that the Facebook business model is illegal in Europe due to its data privacy violations and the risk that data of European citizens could fall into the hands of US secret services." @Tutanota One comment though: you say that "We have to remember: If it's free, you are the product." That's not true with free and open source software or Creative Commons though. It's rather: if a for-profit company gives you something for free, then you're the product. |
