I signed up for AT&T today, so I downloaded their app to check usage/pay bills. First of all, the app is broken. Second of all, THEY HAVE ADS IN THE APP I USE TO PAY THEM?!

@samhenrigold you should troll them - show them a mock-up of the UI where there is an ad for the competitor? @samhenrigold Not entirely unrelated, I am switching to Verizon soon. Mostly for slightly improved coverage, but… @command_tab I only signed up for AT&T since I got an iPad with cell and I wanted their $20/month unlimited plan; I’m normally with Verizon but they wanted $80 🥴 Still better than some carriers spamming you ads as SMS messages and trying to bait you into a daily paid subscription to jokes or horoscopes or some other shit sam henri gold, no no, these are their own ads. Megafon, with which I have my second, hardly-used number, apparently sells this as a service to companies. Maybe even with geo targeting. "-20% on books by barcode until 26.02" sam henri gold, me too, that's why it's not my main carrier. Yota is really nice, you pay money, you get unlimited data, and that's it. And in case it wasn't clear, m-adv.ru does belong to Megafon themselves. It's like they aren't even trying to hide it. Григорий, lmaooo it gets better. I asked their VK page about it. @grishka “It wasn’t us, but if it *was* us, it’s not my problem. But if it *were* my problem, no it isn’t.” |
