@humanetech @floppy @how @NGIZero There is not even a single succesfull ActivityPub project after we have set up all the couches for Mr. Leenars in Hall 3 of 36C3 in Leipzig (He gave his stage-speech and went away). And then it was only vaporware. Please, people: WARNING!

@floppy @humanetech wow! This would be cool .. always felt a bit weird that communities for projects like #openhab #kodi and #mycroft weren't part of the #fediverse

#Owncloud is implementing #ActivityPub too, which is similarly exciting I think. I didn't expect this some months ago, but if this really is going to spread and many other services not inherently "social" join the Fediverse, then I think very intersting things could happen. What exactly I don't know yet, still wrapping my head around it. :)

@floppy @humanetech I had understood that #nextcloud had some integration but hadn't got to it yet. I'm having a bit of a frenzy with ideas like integration between #nextcloud #mycroft #openhab and #kodi

@abeorch I'm eagerly waiting for Nextcloud Social for a while too. An alpha version is available for some months now. Was just about to post links, but @humanetech beat me to it. :)

We've both been keeping the #ActivityPub support issue warm at #Discourse for a time. Where before the interest dealt with native AP support, I think now there's plugin developers interested in picking this up.
Hellekin may know more background information.
