 @toxomat yes, I added a toot at the end of my thread that makes it clear I am not advocating for de-federation of m.s, and that de-federation is a nuclear option of absolute last resort. @rysiek |

I did. There is hardly any report saying "I am getting a lot of spam and this bothers me". Not even your obs of a " spam wave" seems to be universally shared. Maybe those reports come from instances that have de-federated mine? It's hard. Your argument about big instances favoring spam is disputed. I don't know.
What I know is I am scared about a potential fragmentation of the Fediverse by a culture of defederation. That should be reserved for nazi-shitholes at the moment, imho.
