Tried this today. Nah, can't shift through ALL the cities.

While many, if not most, cities in Russia have a Lenin street, it's a rare occurrence in the Philippines. But it's not the problem

The problem is the small cities (that's called a town?) with unique innovative names that do not intersect with anycity. No way to shift to them.

I think I'll have to come up with an effective way to shift through most cities, and then come up with a list with the remaining ones. You won't find me there.

@bouncepaw i’ve been toying around with the idea that each natural environment is connected. one beach, one forest, one desert, etc, all connected but fractured across the globes.

if i need to quickly get from the east coast to the west coast of the US, the beach is my fastest route. hop under a wave and emerge on the other side.

@bouncepaw i haven’t sketched one out yet, but the other fast travel idea i have is that every pillar is linked, whether column, tree, or street lamp. you just need to walk around one in 180 degree fashion while imaging what you’ll be facing after crossing the event horizon, which somewhat eliminates the need for a map.

that’s mostly for when time is a luxury and the destination is more important than the journey.

@cathos they are not called this way everywhere :-( That could've been a nice hack.
