@counsellingkaren oh that was ages ago, it was actually quite good that bit, gave the entire thing the air of a Greek funeral @stavvers I feel your but the worst thing is how badly I want the swords Penny Mordant gets to hold. And her shoes. @RubyJones @stavvers I thought they were very trusting to give Mordaunt a sword with all those foreigners about. @stavvers the whole coronation being like "receive this", putting something in his hand, taking it away again, "receive that", putting something else in his hand, etc 😆 @stavvers @daijenkins what i find fascinating is how tradition and continuity is manufactured literally the only medieval things there are the spoon and the chair, everything else was invented to evoke tradition |
