You've never seen photos of Southeast Asian spam factories with rooms full of racks upon racks of iPhones cabled into a server, all via Ethernet then? Your app is way too complicated I now use it since a few days, and still don't get most of how it's working I used Twitter a mere few minutes, and everything was intuitive (simple) I switched to Mastodon because I find the paid blue check unacceptable, without which one's comments are basically not visible anymore We need a Twitter alternative, which should be donations-based instead (a bit like Wikipedia in the beginning) But Mastodon is too complicated now ! Well it's a lot of little points which are much more streamlined on Twitter On Mastodon, already the question with the different servers at the beginning. That's sth 70% of the population doesn't understand it Then in my "for you", there's somehow rather some people's accounts instead of tweets, no idea why When I go on "news", there is news, but one cannot comment on them The list of comments below posts, is not ordered by "who got most comments or favorites" There's many little more things 1) when answering to a post\comment, one cannot see it while answering to it. I think on Twitter it was visible 2) another thing is, that the comments which one writes, they then don't appear below those to-be-answered-to posts\comments, but at the bottom of the list We live in a very complicated world nowadays Need Streamlining Weaker people cannnot participate otherwise, and this part of the population seems to grow I think, don't get me wrong, u will certainly be angry now, ... but I think, we need a donations-based Twitter (no poor-people-discriminating blue checks) (a.k.a same financing like Wikipedia) ... a (complicated) Mastodon, which the vast majority of the world is virtually incapable of using, will not fill this need and this need is very important Twitter will most likely take over the vast majority of political discussions in the future ... for the rich only U're apparently the person having founded Mastodon? I just read an article and it showed ur picture... Sorry didn't know, or I would have written in a more concentrated manner Maybe I anyway wrote too much now... ... but my conclusion for now is... ... u likely need to found a "Mastodon 2", a copy of Twitter, just donations-based instead of subscriptions ... because I guess u're not the full-owner of Mastodon (?), so u cannot really push through such changes |
@tyrannosaurusgirl Needless to say it's completely unrelated, bots don't care about buttons in the mobile app.
