Gregory's Server@Mastodon I really disagree with the onboarding thing. It doesn't just hurt decentralization, it's also based in a partial lie ("your data is yours" but it's left behind if you try to migrate).

@Mastodon if anything, i'd suggest a random server from a curated list (and not just importing the one from joinmastodon as i have seen at least two servers with extremely questionable administration listed there). But better wait until your data can really be migrated (even if servers can impose restrictions, like number/size of images etc).
