Preaching to the choir here but it's incredibly frustrating how it's impossible to link to a full thread on Twitter. Parts of it are always hidden in increasingly opaque ways.
@Gargron Twitter is American tech propaganda and spaghetti code used mostly by journalists, so-called thought leaders, people preaching simplistic wokeness, and some others, all ultimately catering to a commercial tech company out to make money. Like your foray into #Apple#iOS land with the #Mastodon app, these are very shark infested waters especially considering how #Apple builds its products and then charges a huge markup for simply marketing and style. I switched to #android - yikes #google

@jeder He's not aware that you need a license to use somebody else's code and that licenses can come with requirements, such as the AGPL license which we use requiring the source code to be made available to the end-users.
