Tomorrow, Mastodon will have its 11 millionth registered account.

That will mean 1 million accounts registered within the past month.

Huge milestone. 1 million accounts in a month.

Also, by observation, Mastodon accounts are of far higher quality than Twitter, ie far more likely to be genuine people making genuine posts. Of course some will be bots, but very few spammers etc that I see anyway.

Just saw a correction to that number elsewhere.

Not Mastodon, the entire Fediverse is heading to 11M with Mastodon 7.1 million of that.
