I have looked at an overview of Fediverse options after joining Mastodon last year to see if I wanted to join any other servers. But I have realized that I just don't do the things they offer. I never really used the "mainstream" version and I believe many (fomer) heavy Twitter users have similar preferences

 @atomicpoet @pixelfed No, but I think that the type of person who joined Mastodon from Twitter and is now active here is not a random sample of Twitter users. And I do believe that this sub-set is much less likely to be active on Instagram, yes. For example, pixelfeed is great for people who have lost their showcase on Insta due to changes over the last couple of years. Like many artists / tatoo artists. But that is not the crowd I personally have seen migrating from Twitter |
