Check out KDE's new #ePub #reading app πŸ“–: Arianna!

Although only at version 1.0.0, Arianna already comes with a progress and navigation bar, full text word search, and is fully navigable with the keyboard. Development is happening fast, so look out for many more features to comeπŸ“š!

Arianna's library view shows book covers and allows you to choose one to read and search in your catalog.
Arianna shows a simple, non-distracting reading interface, with a progress bar at the bottom.
Arianna's library view, but on a mobile device, showing it can adapt to work on phones.

@kde Oh, finally! πŸŽ‰ Looking forward for it to be available on AUR, or at least have a build instructions to test it πŸ˜„ Since I don't have knowledge to build it by myself.

@kde Is there any text-to-speech for accessibility ?

@kde Hey, I almost accidentally deleted all my panels just now because of the jank of my touchpad. Can you please provide less foot-guns in :kde: please?

@kde couldn't you have squeezed a K in there, somewhere? πŸ˜‚

@kde for your information, the application is not accessible enough with screenreaders that one can use it for reading books. First off, if you tab past the list with your books, you get into a dialog, I assume search, out of which you can't get unless you press escape, you can't even tab in it. Then, and that's probably because of flatpak portals being dumb accessibility wise, I can't select an epub file for viewing, because the listing is entirely inaccessible.
