My iPhone, iPad, and MacBook are online 24/7, all of the time, when they're not rebooting after an upgrade. Every internet request that goes out from any of them is sent via an Apple relay, and the response is returned via that same relay, and my IP address is hidden. This prevents cross-site tracking.
The Passwords app tells me if any of the passwords I've used have been trawled from websites and need to be changed.
Apple is pretty hot on security.
