 @atomicpoet people need only install a mastodon app and create an account. After doing this the transition was easy for me. @atomicpoet at the moment they are just waiting though and they will go back as if nothing has happened as soon as Musk changes their label. Not deleting their accounts - okay. But why don’t they open a presence in the Fediverse? @philippsteinkrueger You don’t know if they intend to open a Fediverse account. And constantly assuming the worst is tiring. @atomicpoet @philippsteinkrueger I try to avoid constantly assuming the worst, but I'm naturally cynical 😅 @atomicpoet in related news: with @NDR a big German media org seems to have joined Mastodon… @atomicpoet @atomicpoet @Anneke I try, I find it pretty hard. So many people on Twitter aren't using Mastodon actively. @atomicpoet I am still on Twitter purely for the knowledge. A few educators that I have learnt immensely from seem to have refused to move away from Twitter. |
