Gregory's Serverthey made an ipad that ran macOS. it was called the 12 inch macbook, it was great, and i will never, ever forgive you all for not buying enough of them to keep it around.

@samhenrigold This! Mine was often mistaken for an iPad when closed. And don’t get me started on the MacBook „Air“ that weighs 30% more 🙄

@hammoncr The MB pleasantly surprised me with how capable it is. It’s no speed demon, but when I had to render some comp in After Effects on a flight, I thought “heh, not bad”. But with my iPad, I don’t think I’ve ever been pleasantly surprised. It’s always been “alright, guess I’ll do that when I get back to my desktop.”

@hammoncr the last ipad I had was with the folio keyboard thing, is the magic keyboard any better or does it still flop around on your lap @samhenrigold people have to buy things they don't actually want to keep them around because why? |
@samhenrigold Seriously have no idea why they aren’t reconsidering another take since Apple Silicon is going strong. Felt like the biggest issues with it were Intel/thermal-related.
