Someone should start an e-daddy service.
Not me, though. I’m too busy being an actual daddy. And the demands on me right now are simple: provide unicorn plushies and bake lasagna.
Being an e-daddy for someone else would be too much work.

@atomicpoet I’m with ya on the unicorn plushies and baked lasagna. My littlest one can’t get enough of either. It’s actually funny when cis hetero men ask, “Why would anyone pay for an e-daddy?” I mean, I don’t know what to tell them. Half the world’s population is like, “An e-daddy is the silliest, most ridiculous idea I’ve ever heard.” The other half thinks, “Why aren’t e-daddies a thing already? Please make this happen right now 😿” @CStamp A daddy that plays video games with you, listens to your problems, wakes you up in the morning, gives you a motivational pep talk. All delivered virtually. That kind of thing. @atomicpoet @CStamp i guess you could just e-daddy all bob the builder and postman pat characters. Or make mii-like character generator. Since I’m a product guy, I would suggest starting with two varietals of e-daddy: 1. Rainbow bearded e-daddy that resembles Santa Claus Ultimately, we’d need to go in many directions. But those two varietals are a start, a means to validate the concept. @atomicpoet The Venn diagram of men who don’t get what e-daddy is, and men who have the stereotypical distant masculine relationship with their fathers is probably a circle (Myself included). @atomicpoet One of the best moments of personal growth for me was realizing the "why would anybody-" questions are pointless- Nobody will ever fully understand anyone else and they don't need to. it'll all be ok. @atomicpoet :) I was thinking of as a product name. (A.k.a. the later it gets the worse my jokes gets.) @atomicpoet For a minute there I thought you were talking about a niche online dating service. |
@atomicpoet what would e-daddys do? Change e-diapers?
