🎵 As it's #BandcampFriday today, I want to shamelessly plug myself in with my recent EP, written completely in #Orca #livecoding environment with #SunVox #modular #synthesizer

You can listen and download it on #bandcamp
xsodect.bandcamp.com/album/par

And maybe if you like it - you can support my release, while I am working on the second EP.

@vacuumbeef Love it! Stresscult is my favorite so far, but they're all awesome. Great job 😃

@avivlevy Thank you! It is better with visuals, I think (especially Box). There is a link to the youtube playlist on bandcamp page

@vacuumbeef oh definitely! Love the art direction of this EP. Not that you asked but I wish the text would go "crazier" or animate and change a bit more, but that's just nit picking honestly. Love the "software gone terribly haywire" vibes I get from this.

@avivlevy Yeah I know it's a little static, but in the end everything you see on the video is actually playing music in realtime, so most of the time there is nothing I can do about it looking still.
But I have some thoughts for future releases.

@vacuumbeef Oh, wow, that's cool! Didn't realize that. I understand :)

Edit: checked out Orca. Ok I feel stupid now lol haha

@avivlevy It's okay, now I think maybe it's not really obvious and when I post it I should clarify that this is a "mechanism" playing music and not just a visuals made after the track.
After all when I first saw an Orca track, I didn't get what is happening too.

Also it looks static because I automated everything, so if I would play the track myself live (turning on and off different parts) It would feel more animated I think. But I will die if I'll try to do it all by myself without automation

@vacuumbeef Well you explained it but I think I didn't connect the dots. It couldn't harm though. Also, I was immediately taken to ASCII and coding animations style when I saw that and I guess that's what I was expecting to see.

And I get it. Do what works best! The outcome is really good. I enjoyed listening.
